Description:
Many Arduino boards save expense by leaving off the USB-to-Serial converter, providing a simple serial interface instead using a standard 6-way header. For example the KitTen Arduino compatible board uses this header. You can then use an FTDI USB-to-Serial cable with multiple boards, using it to load the sketch and then disconnecting it.
