Dual Trip Alarm

Dual Trip Alarm or Alarm Monitor

The Dual Trip Alarm or Alarm Monitor allows you to monitor 0-20mA and 4-20mA analog signals or 0-5V analog signals. Alarm 1 has 10 different modes of operation. Alarm 2 has 9 different modes of operation.

The Dual Alarm monitor is easily configured by a PC program via its serial port. All alarm parameters are stored into the non volatile EEPROM memory.
Configurations can be saved to your hard drive on your PC.

Modes of Operation are
  • High Level Alarm. A relay is switched on when the analog input level remains above a specified High Level. Relay is switched off on returning to Low Level
  • High Level Alarm Latched. A relay is latched on when the analog input level remains above a specified High Level. Relay is switched off on returning to Low Level and closing Reset input
  • High Level Alarm Timer. A relay is switched on for a time when the analog input level remains above a specified High Level.
  • Low Level Alarm. A relay is switched on when the analog input level remains below a specified Low Level. Relay is switched off on returning to High Level
  • Low Level Alarm Latched. A relay is latched on when the analog input level remains below a specified High Level. Relay is switched off on returning to High Level and closing Reset input
  • Low Level Alarm Timer. A relay is switched on for a time when the analog input level remains below a specified Low Level.
  • High Low Level Alarm. A relay is switched on when the analog input level remains above a specified High Level or below a specified Low Level.
  • High Level Alarm Latched. A relay is latched on when the analog input level remains above a specified High Level or below a specified Low Level.
  • High Level Alarm Timer. A relay is switched on for a time when the analog input level remains above a specified High Level or below a specified Low Level.
  • Analog Input Compare. A relay is switched on for a time when the level at analog input 1 is greater than analog input 2.

Other Features include

  • All external connections are via screw terminals.
  • Analog inputs are 10 bit (0.5% accuracy)
  • Relays can switch 3A @240VAC

Switch on and off a pump based on the level in a tank or well
Control pressure using ON-OFF control of a compressor
Switch on and off an air conditioner, based on output of a temperature transducer
Switch on and off an oven, based on output of a temperatre transducer
Control Chemical Dosing using ON-OFF control

For configuration all you need is our free software and a standard D9 Male to D9 Female RS232 cable. The Dual Analog Alarm Monitor can be purchased in a DIN rail mount for easy mounting on DIN rail
