Wireless Sequential Logic Controller

In the past we have had wireless projects which featured a 2 or 4 button transmitter and a controller with a number of relays. Pressing the buttons on the wireless transmitter allowed you to turn on and off relays
These were quite popular in use in garage doors, turn on lights etc but if you wanted to do anything more complicated then you were stuck.
Our Wireless Sequence Logic Controller (WSLC) allows you to do simple control easily.

Some control examples are
- With the push of a single button you could automatically open a gate wait a few seconds and then close it.
- Push button 'x' closes relay 'x' and switches off the other relays.
- Security system button 1 opens a gate and turns on the lights, button 2 just turns on the lights for a defined length of time.
- In photography pushing button 1 turns on relay 1 to wind on film then relay 2 is turned on to take the photograph , waits a second then repeats the process 60 more times.
- In manufacturing you may want to move an object in one direction until it hits a limit switch stop, wait a second, operate a relay for a time move the object back until it hits a limit switch and then repeat the process 100 times.

STRUCTURE OF THE SEQUENCE LOGIC CONTROLLER
The logic controller features
- 4 button key FOB UHF 433MHz Transmitter
- 6 Relays with changeover contacts can switch 5 amps @240VAC
- 4 Isolated Digital Inputs
- 2 0-5V Digital Inputs
- screw terminal connections for all inputs and outputs
- 12VDC powered

The controller can handle up to 15 transmitters so if you can have a number of people with their own transmitters operating the controller. The transmitters use rolling code technology so it’s close-to-impossible to electronically “crack”
The transmitter will operate the controller from a distance of up to 50m clear line of site


SOFTWARE
Free PC software is provided so that you can develop a sequential logic program for the controller card, run and simulate it on the PC. When you are happy with its operation you serially download it to the microcontroller. The program will carry out a sequence of operations on the relays based on the status of the 4 buttons on the transmitter and the 6 digital inputs on the controller. The sequence logic is easy to learn and allows great flexibility. Each line of the sequence logic program consists of 3 inputs (one momentary) , 6 actions and the number of times the sequence is to be repeated. For example on pressing a button on the transmitter (the momentary input) one sequence line could switch relay one on for 15 seconds , then switch relay 2 on for 30 seconds followed by relay 3 on for 20 seconds and repeat that sequence a number of times.

WITHOUT WIRELESS TRANSMITTER
If you do not require the wireless transmitter then you can purchase the The Sequential Logic Controller without the transmitter and UHF Receiver board. Actions will then be determined on the basis of the digital inputs. Hence in the the software provided you would not use the UHFx inputs, only the DIx inputs.
