FEATURES Very easy to assemble it features - a 12 bit ADC with 8 single ended inputs reading 0 to       4Volts. The inputs can withstand up to +/-20V.  - ADC conversion time of less than 10 usecs. Note using         windows software reduces this speed  - 4 Digital Inputs that are TTL and CMOS compatible  - 4 Digital Outputs that are TTL and CMOS compatible that         are capable of sourcing and sinking 6mA. Measuring just 60x55x20mm the DAS005 is able to fit into your shirt pocket and with its low power requirements it can be powered by a 9V to 12V battery making it very suitable for portable situations.  A 25 way terminal board can be purchased for easier connections to I/O. If you wish to switch heavy current loads with the digital outputs check out the 12VDC relay for TTL outputs. A temperature sensor -40 to 100degC is also available

ISEE DATA ACQUISITION PROGRAM
The ISEE data acquisition and HMI program which comes free with the DAS005 and the DAS010 makes them  one of the most powerful data acquisition and control devices for its price on the market today. Running under Windows XP/2000/NT/ME/98 and 95 it allows the user to

    - View the analog inputs. They can be viewed as raw readings 0 to 4000 or in engineering units.
    - View the status of the digital inputs
    - Control the status of the digital outputs
    - Display the analog inputs on graphs or trends
    - View the maximum and minimum values for each of the analog inputs
    - Log analog inputs and digital inputs and variables to disk
    - Can display alarms

PROBLEMS RUNNING TRENDS ON ISEE PROGRAM
Users with Windows 95 could experience problems running trends. Internet Explorer 4 or later should be installed on the PC. The latest MFC dlls should also be installed. These can be downloaded from Microsoft at http://activex.microsoft.com/controls/vc/mfc42.cab

HI SPEED DATA ACQUISITION PROGRAM
The ISEE program can only log data at speeds up to 50 msecs. The HiSpeedDas program permits Data Acquisition Speeds up to 1 msecs. You simply select the speed of acquisition, what inputs to log, the log file and how you want the logging to be triggered. This program only runs on Windows 98 and 95

The VB5 uses inpout32.dll while the Visual Basic 6, Delphi and Borland C++ program use IO.dll to access the parallel port. The InpOut32.dll is freeware and is available from www.lvr.com. This web site is invaluable to understand the workings of the parallel port. InpOut32 will allow your program to run only on Windows 95 and 98. 
IO.dll is also freeware. It will allow your program to run on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT and 2000.  It is recommended you read the the file ioreadme.txt in the io.zip file which has useful information about the functions available,  running the dll under Windows NT and 2000 and legal restrictions.
