Tagtemp
Is a new waterproof temperature data logger housed in an IP67 enclosure

TagTemp is a compact water proof temperature data logger. Housed in an IP67 enclosure, TagTemp can be installed in harsh environments in different applications.
It can be easily programmed and set via a handy infrared IR-LINK 3 interface connected to a USB port under Windows LogChart II software or with a Palm compatible PDA IrDA interface under PalmOS.
LogChart II software allows for logger configuration, recorded data retrieval, plotting, historical analysis and exports data to spreadsheets.
Powered by an inexpensive lithium coin cell, it can operate continuously for more than one year. When the battery has expired it can be replaced with a new one. Its high resolution (14 bit ADC) and data memory capacity (16k loggings) makes it the ideal product for accurate monitoring of temperature for long periods or fast sampling

Starter Pack Now Available.
Contains 2 Tagtemp Dataloggers, a USB-IRLink and Logchart software. All you need to get you started for $199.00

Logchart Software
The configuration of the TagTemp is done by the included LogChart software. Data is transmitted to the TagTemp through an Infrared wand connected to the PC's USB port. The Parameter Configuration window in LogChart lets you configure the following parameters:

Logging session title
Channel setup - name, type, limits, scaling
start log options - immediatley or timed
   log rate
logging options - stop when full, set number of readings or roll-over

After the logging session is complete, data can then be downloaded again by LogChart and displayed in table and chart formats. Data files can then be saved as ASCII text files for importation into common Spreadsheets. It is also possible to monitor data in real-time.

Palm PDA Software
Most of the functionality of the LogChart II is available for the PDA Palm running the LogChart PalmOS software. The program is supplied with the logger. The program is installed on the Palmtop through a HotSync process (data synchronization between a Palmtop and a PC).

Starting the LogChart PalmOS application will display the Recorded Data screen on the Palm where it is possible to access the TagTemp configuration to change settings and collect data, as well as to access collected data.

HotSync of data stored in a PDA to a PC is performed through a conduit installed together with the LogChart Palm-OS. The conduit converts the data collected by the LogChart Palm-OS to a file compatible with the LogChart-II software.
