Remote Control of a Reversible DC Motor
We
were asked to develop a remote control for a DC Motor. The operator
could control the direction and speed of the motor from up to a
distance of 30m. We based our design around the rolling code
transmitters used in our KTA-180 and our DC motor controller KTA-195

Explosive Gas Monitoring Interface
A
firm is using our Pixel controllers to prevent a dangerous build of
gases exploding in a confined space. We helped them develop the

Speed and Odometer Interface
We
have been asked to develop an interface card that would convert a
frequency input from a speedometer and a pulse output to a car speed
and odometer value that would be output on a RS232 connection. We have
based our solution around our KTA-190 card

TTL to RS232 Converter
A
customer asked us to design a TTL to RS232 converter which would be
powered off the RS232 port for a special project he had. We then had to
arrange the manufacture of 2000 of the units. |  |
Speed Limiter for Forklifts
One
of our customers is the Australian Distributor for a well known brand
of forklift. He wanted a simple to use controller that would prevent
forklift operators going above a set speed. We used our KTA-251
controller together with one of our Conch proximity switches mounted on
the driveshaft and an RC Servo motor.

Air Flow Alarm and Monitor
A
customer was working in a large sewerage pipeline. The authority
required him to monitor the air flow in the pipeline and if it fell
below a certain speed then sound an alarm to warn the workers of the
danger. We packaged our anemometer interface and alarm card together
with a power supply, siren and flashing light in a water tight plastic
enclosure
